We invite you to join us and Interfaith Power & Light (D.C., MD., and NoVA), in partnership with several DMV area Catholic parishes, to attend a workshop to learn how Catholic homeowners have an opportunity to embrace the blessing of what St. Francis called “Brother Sun” – by putting up solar panels at home, together with neighbors.
By attending this workshop, you will learn how you can start the process of joining purchasing groups through two nonprofit organizations: Solar United Neighbors (in Northern Virginia, D.C., and Montgomery, Frederick, and Prince George’s counties) and Civic Works (in Baltimore, Harford, Howard, and Anne Arundel Counties).
Catholic Home Solar Workshop
Thursday, May 30th at 7 p.m. (ET)
During the workshop, you will learn how Pope Francis calls us to replace fossil fuels with renewable energy “without delay,” hear a testimonial about how meaningful it is to go solar at home, and receive information from both Solar United Neighbors and Civic Works. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the process, and to sign up to go solar!
