The 3rd annual NIHHIS National meeting aims to bring together multiple stakeholders (federal agencies, state and local government, private and public partners, community leaders) to discuss heat and health with the goal of reducing risk on multiple timescales and geographic scales. This meeting is focused on engaging communities and developing a shared vision for community heat resilience.
The three themes of the meeting include: Defining the Problem of Heat; Personal Exposure to Heat; and Community Action and Response to Heat.
The NIHHIS National will be a virtual meeting through Zoom, and will take place from April 16-18, 2024. The meeting includes keynote speakers, presentations and panels on heat and health topics, and more.
