The MACLN is a peer-learning cohort of more than 20 leading cities, counties, regional planning councils across the Mid-Atlantic region that meet on bimonthly basis to coordinate and share best practices on climate action. The group has been collaborating since 2010 with initial support from EPA Region 3 and is now facilitated by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, World Resources Institute, and ICLEI USA.
The next virtual meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (EST) on the topic of financing climate investments at the local and regional levels to learn more about Montgomery County Green Bank’s work on this topic.
Invitations are extended to Laura Mondragon of Montgomery County Green Bank, Jessie Buendia from the Coalition for Green Capital to provide a national perspective and speak to their work through the Municipal Investment Fund.
