Loading Events

DOEE, the DC Green Bank and GBCI have partnered to host a series of convenings and workshops as part of the Municipal Investment Fund.

DC’s Municipal Investment Fund Project Kick-off and Stakeholder Convening

Audience for this session: MIF Project partners together with private sector and non-profit lenders, energy consultants, project developers, building owners and industry associations

Location: DOEE Offices @ 1200 1st St. with virtual attendance for presentations and discussions.

Food and Beverage TBC: Breakfast and Lunch provided for in-person attendees.

Session Description: This kick-off convening is open to all potential public and private stakeholders interested in assisting DC in the development of it’s MIF Public Private Partnership Plan and learning more about how to utilize the Investor Ready Energy Efficiency (IREE) certification from the GBCI’s Investor Confidence Project (ICP).

Partners will solicit input from community and private sector stakeholders to inform the development of standardized project origination protocols that building owners and developers can use to seek financing for projects such as energy-efficient building retrofits, decarbonization projects, and renewable installations. NCIF qualified projects would have access to a streamlined lending process, and potentially preferable rates, for projects using standardized underwriting protocols.
