Audience for this session: MIF Project partners together with public, private and non-profit lenders or energy incentive providers

Location: DOEE Offices with optional virtual attedance.

Food and Beverage TBC: Breakfast and Lunch provided for in-person attendees.

Background: With grant support from the Municipal Investment Fund (MIF), the District of Columbia’s Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) and DC Green Bank (DCGB) are partnering to develop new underwriting standards rooted in building science to support the financing of qualified projects meeting requirements for the National Clean Investment Fund (NCIF).The Municipal Investment Fund (MIF) is a transformative opportunity for communities across the US to develop finance-ready project pipelines that will unlock private investment, create jobs, lower energy costs, and improve life for all Americans. ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability USA is partnering with the Coalition for Green Capital(CGC) to offer market-building funding and technical support to help communities — Local governments, Tribes, and their partner not-for-profit organizations — to develop public-private partnership plans that can accelerate the deployment of capital to clean energy projects.

Session Description: This workshop is designed for energy consultants, vendors, services providers and contractors to take a deep dive into how to structure and underwriting process using the Investor Ready Energy Efficiency (IREE) certification to jumpstart your energy efficiency, decarbonization or renewables lending efforts.
