About the Project:
A single-tenant warehouse at 4100 Star Point Drive in Burtonsville, MD, installed a 1.075 MW rooftop community solar PV system. The solar PV system, developed by Clean Slate Solar, will help 160 households, including 81 low-to-moderate income households. Altogether, the solar project will generate 1,350,394 kWh annually, save residents $90,589 in total average yearly savings, and offset over 826 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually.
Financing Details:
The Montgomery County Green Bank provided over $1,000,000 in a construction-to-permanent loan, led by Locus Bank. The total loan amount was over $2,000,000.
Montgomery County Green Bank’s Role:
Montgomery County Green Bank served as a pari-passu loan participant. The green bank is providing 50% of the total loan participation capital alongside Locus Bank.
