The Mid-Atlantic’s leading agricultural gathering, the Future Harvest Conference, returns January 22–23, 2026 in Silver Spring, MD.
This year’s theme, “Pivot, Care, Grow: Farmers and Communities Building Together,” emphasizes collaboration and resilience across the region’s food system.
Farmers, food system professionals, homesteaders, and agtivists will come together for two days of keynote addresses, interactive sessions, and networking. Special highlights include a local-food happy hour and farmer bingo.
The conference draws small- to mid-scale growers of fruits, vegetables, flowers, poultry, and small ruminants, alongside vendors and organizations offering seeds, feed, machinery, fencing, infrastructure, land management, and more.
Organizers note that the event is also a prime opportunity for businesses and institutions to connect with the agricultural community, showcase their values, and build long-term visibility in the Mid-Atlantic foodshed.
