Quickly find out if you are eligible for the Montgomery County Green Bank’s Residential Renewable Energy Financing Program.

If you qualify, the portal will send you, your contractor, and the Montgomery County Green Bank an email documenting that you qualify for the program. At the end of the eligibility check, you will find a link to the participating lender when you can IMMEDIATELY begin you loan application. 

You must use a Residential Renewable Energy Financing Program participating contractor to do the work. Should you later choose to use a different Residential Renewable Energy Financing Program participating contractor, you will need to resubmit the program eligibility questionnaire through the portal. The Montgomery County Green Bank provides Montgomery County, MD homeowners access to the Residential Renewable Energy Financing Program when applying for a loan for renewable energy home improvements from the Clean Energy Credit Union, our participating program lender. The Residential Renewable Energy Financing Program is a program offered by the Clean Energy Credit Union. The Montgomery County Green Bank is not a lender and is not offering any loans under the Residential Renewable Energy Financing Program. Any loans provided under the Residential Renewable Energy Financing Program will be between the participating lender and the homeowner.
