Other options, depending on the size and scale of your project, may offer benefits comparable to CLEER:

  1. Commercial Property-Assessed Clean Energy Financing, or C-PACE Financing, offered by Montgomery County offers financing that is placed on and paid through your property tax bill. C-PACE may be especially well-suited for projects over $250,000.
  2. Small Business Energy Advance offered by Pepco and Baltimore Gas & Electric is a zero-interest loan for qualified small businesses installing certain energy efficiency measures. It covers the balance of the cost after the utility incentive.
