Program Terms

Energy Efficiency Program Terms

Borrower: 

Homeowners in Montgomery County, Maryland. The program is Exclusive to Montgomery County homeowners.

Funds for: 

Energy Efficiency, EV Charging.

Eligible Buildings:

Exclusive to Montgomery County homeowners.

Eligible Clean Energy Technologies:

Air Leakage Reduction, Insulation, Duct Sealing, High Efficiency Electric Heating, Cooling or Hot Water, High Efficiency Gas Heating or Hot Water, Any compliance-based health and safety measures that are required for utility rebate or incentive eligibility.

Loan Size:

 $3,000 to $35,000. 

Financing Structure:

  • Unsecured and Secured Loans. Secured Loans use a VCC-1 foliag on fixtures, such as HVAC systems, which is paid by borrow. 

  • Loan Terms From 2 to 12 Years

  • No Prepayment Penalty

Loan terms from 1 to 20 Years, with no prepayment penalties.
