SUMMARY:Catholic Home Solar Workshop
DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us and Interfaith Power & Light (D.C.\, MD.\, and NoVA)\, in partnership with several DMV area Catholic parishes\, to attend a workshop to learn how Catholic homeowners have an opportunity to embrace the blessing of what St. Francis called “Brother Sun” – by putting up solar panels at home\, together with neighbors. \nBy attending this workshop\, you will learn how you can start the process of joining purchasing groups through two nonprofit organizations: Solar United Neighbors (in Northern Virginia\, D.C.\, and Montgomery\, Frederick\, and Prince George’s counties) and Civic Works (in Baltimore\, Harford\, Howard\, and Anne Arundel Counties). \nCatholic Home Solar Workshop\nThursday\, May 30th at 7 p.m. (ET) \nREGISTER \nDuring the workshop\, you will learn how Pope Francis calls us to replace fossil fuels with renewable energy “without delay\,” hear a testimonial about how meaningful it is to go solar at home\, and receive information from both Solar United Neighbors and Civic Works.
