DESCRIPTION:This convening will bring together investors\, green banks\, utilities\, nonprofits\, and other mission-driven organizations working to mobilize public and private capital for critical water infrastructure solutions. \nAs the national green bank\, CGC is actively seeking opportunities to address financing gaps in clean water infrastructure through innovative capital markets solutions. We are excited to share about how we are deploying capital in this sector and to learn from other leaders advancing the future of water infrastructure. \nA New Model for Investing in Resilient Affordable Housing \nHow can we move resilience investments from a collection of “nice to have” ideas to a\nproactive pipeline of financeable investments for affordable housing owners?\nMontgomery County Green Bank’s Resilience Dedicated Fund offers a successful model\nfor providing flexible\, low-cost capital to help affordable housing owners proactively plan\nand finance resilience improvements across their portfolios. This session will share the\nRDF’s approach\, early results\, and lessons for building scalable resilience financing\nsolutions for affordable housing nationwide.
